How long has Purrfect Match been on the internet?

Purrfect Match has been in existence for nearly 5 years.  It was something I decided to put out there on the internet and see if anyone will respond.  So far, everyone thinks it’s a great dating website. 

Hmmm, I never heard of Purrfect Match until now, why is that?

The main reason is because initially, I didn’t have any funding to help support Purrfect Match.  No one would assist financially.  I could not get a loan to help with marketing.  So, I worked hard and didn’t give up on what I believed in.  And now, I am able breath life back into Purrfect Match.

Tell us what have you been doing for the past 5 years?

I worked as a Honda Salesman during the day and thinking of ways to fund Purrfect Match during the night.

What did you do prior to Purrfect Match?

I was a computer programmer for over 7 years and I had the opportunity to do web development during that time.  After the computer industry went well dry and basically taking any job that pays a check, the idea of Purrfect Match came into play.  I graduate from Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA, in Fall 1993 – Oh, wait, Spring 1994 rather.  I almost forgot I got a failing grade in Database Development and I had to finish my last course at LSU-Shreveport.  Do you know I am still pissed!  Thanks a lot Mrs. Crackpan.

Why did you create Purrfect Match?

Well, I have always been a big lover of animals.  So, one day I said to myself – I said “Self, why not create a dating website that cater to singles who would like to meet other singles who both adore pets?”  I thought it would be fun to include your pet as the mediator between you and your future love interest.  Animals are adorable pets and who could resist saying no to your pet?

Yeah, but why the name “Purrfect Match”?

Purrrrrrfect Match.  Get it?  What sound does a cat make?  Truthfully, I love dogs more than cats, but wouldn’t Ruff-fect Match sound horrible.  I thought the name was catchy and to be quite honest it was the Purrfect name for the website.

What kind of pet do you have?

I have a Yellow Lab and his name is Governor?
